ADD YOUR NAME: REJECT HOLLYWOOD'S ANTISEMITIC BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL

To the signers of the “Film Workers for Palestine” antisemitic pledge:

We are deeply concerned about your pledge to boycott Israeli film institutions, productions, and artists in a biased and discriminatory way.

This boycott does not advance peace. It silences diverse voices, including Israeli and Palestinian artists who collaborate every day, and it amounts to collective punishment. Israel’s cultural community is independent, creative, and often fiercely critical of its own government, yet you seek to erase it.

Any genuine call for peace must begin with demanding the immediate and unconditional release of the hostages still held by Hamas.

Singling out Israel in this manner fuels antisemitism and undermines the legitimacy of the world’s only Jewish state. By targeting artists solely because of their nationality, you are not pursuing justice but embracing a corrosive form of discrimination. True solidarity means elevating voices that build coexistence, not silencing them.

If peace is truly the goal, the path lies in dialogue and an unambiguous stand against terror. Art must remain a bridge, not a weapon wielded against Israeli artists.
