"I would vote for Hamas over Israel every single time."

Those are not the words of a radical militant in Gaza. These are the words of Hasan Piker, an American streamer.

Hamas is a terror organization and should never be normalized. We can never have open support for terrorism in our democratic society.

Hamas has murdered Americans, Israelis, and Palestinians. Anyone who shares a stage with someone who champions this organization is telling us exactly where they stand.

When given the chance to walk it back, he doubled down. He called Hamas "a thousand times better" than Israel and compared Zionism to Nazism. This is not criticism of Israel, a democratic nation. It is open support for a U.S.-designated terrorist organization that massacred, raped, and kidnapped innocent civilians, including Americans, on October 7th.

And instead of being condemned, Piker is being courted. Political candidates campaign alongside him. Elected officials appear on his show. Every shared stage tells the American public that openly supporting a terrorist organization is acceptable in our political life.

It is not.

We call on every political candidate, elected official, and public figure to disavow Piker's support for Hamas and pledge not to appear on his platform or campaign alongside him. Piker's antisemitic rhetoric and expressed support for Hamas cannot be excused or tolerated.
